Calendula / Marigold.......................


One of the most versatile herbs, is the marigold as a colorful flower garden and loved for its use in cosmetic and culinary recipes.

This hardy flower appears continuously. Persians and Greeks garnished and flavored food with his golden petals. In Europe, ithas long been used to flavor soups and stews, and color of butter and cheese.

In the rice for an agency a pretty yellow color and give a slight spicy flavor the rice. We in fish, meat, soups, soft cheese, yogurt, butter, omelettes, milk dishes, cakes and sweet breads. Add 1 teaspoon of flowers on fish and game dishes. Garnish meat dishes, pies and fruit salads.

The leaves can be sprinkled in salads and stews.
