The cultivation of Sweet Bay Laurel

Website: Sweet bay requires full sun, but needs protection from easterly winds with a soil or compost with lime. Water regularly, but not too much during the summer months. During the winter, it needs very little water.

Growing: A sweet laurel will grow to about 15 - 20 meters high in milder climates. Its growth is slow, only about 1 foot per year. If you live in an area with severe winter weather, leave it in the pot and bring it indoors in winter.
